Why The highly anticipated season 7 of Big Brother Naija, dubbed ‘Level Up,’ has officially begun. The first set of housemates was introduced to the show during the live launch show today being Saturday (23-07-2022).
Six male and six female contestants entered the house, beginning a new journey to fame for them.
Groovy
Groovy is the stage name of Henry Olisa, a native of Anambra State.
Beauty Tukura
Beauty Tukura is the 2021 Miss Nigeria and is from Taraba State. I’d bet you never knew this.
Ismail Khalid
Khalid is 22 years old. He claims to be single and not looking.
Ilebaye
Ilebaye is from Kogi State and has stated that she will not be in a relationship on the show.
Cyph
Bright Erekete, or Cyph, is a tech bro who does not believe in love at first sight.
Amaka
She refers to herself as Nigerian Nicki Minaj. Amaka goes on to say that she’s “single to the last letter of the word.”
Kess
He’s a married 28-year-old man who says his wife approves of him having fun.
Daniella
Daniella Peters is a 22-year-old Cross River State poet.
PharmSavi
Saviour Akpan is a pharmacist from Akwa Ibom State. PharmSavi described himself as a confident gentleman with a great sense of humour. At first, he does not believe in love. He identifies as a pharmacist and a low-key entertainer.
Phyna
Phyna is an abbreviation for Josephina. Her home state is Edo.
Bryan
Brian is an aspiring music producer from Imo State.
Christy O
Christy is a native of Ondo State. Well, Ondo ladies are beautiful, so you might not be too surprised at this.
Asake and Victony also delivered electrifying performances for the live audience and fans on the premiere night.
This year’s winner will receive a whopping N100m grand prize, which includes a N50m cash prize and N50m in sponsor prizes. In addition, 30 show fans will each win N1 million in the ‘Favorite Lock-In‘ promotion, which is only available to DStv and GOtv customers.
The show will keep the same voting format as last year, with voting available only on the Big Brother Naija website, mobile site, and MyDStv and MyGOtv apps for active customers.
